Each summer over 60 young artists are selected for the Bridge from the many hundreds who apply and receive full scholarships to attend a month of intensive music making in Boston, Massachusetts.

Criteria for acceptance is outstanding talent and a willingness to pursue excellence. These Emerging Artists work with the guidance and support of some of the world’s most respected artists and teachers.

Since its founding in 1997, roughly 1000 young artists have benefited from the barrier-free music making experience offered by Morningside Music Bridge. Their alumni have become some of today’s leading classical musicians performing on stages around the world and teaching at leading Conservatories and universities.

The Morningside Group and our Heckfield owners, the Chan family, have been the primary sponsors of Morningside Music Bridge since its inception.
